Using Buffet
Buffet is operated by The Buffet LLC and is a social challenge and entertainment service. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, activity under your account, and compliance with applicable law. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, impersonate others, or use it for unlawful activity.
Challenges and results
Challenge information, statistics, grading, and results may be delayed, corrected, or unavailable. Buffet may void, correct, suspend, or remove challenges when necessary to address errors, postponed or cancelled events, abuse, or technical problems.
SMS notification terms
By providing your mobile number and affirmatively checking the separate SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated transactional text messages from The Buffet LLC through the Buffet service about challenge invitations, accepted challenge notifications, challenge status updates, account-related notifications, and final challenge results.
Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to create or use a Buffet account. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help or email support@buffetbets.com. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Accounts and access
You must keep account information current and protect access to your email and authentication methods. Buffet may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with law.
Content and conduct
You retain responsibility for messages, comments, group names, and other content you submit. You grant Buffet permission to store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service. Content that is abusive, deceptive, unlawful, infringing, or harmful may be removed.
Disclaimers and limitation
Buffet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buffet disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
