How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Buffet, deliver invitations and account notifications, maintain challenge records, improve the service, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
SMS messaging and mobile information
Buffet is operated by The Buffet LLC. When you provide a mobile number and separately opt in, The Buffet LLC, operating the Buffet service, may send recurring automated transactional text messages concerning challenge invitations, accepted challenge notifications, challenge status updates, account-related notifications, and final challenge results. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
The Buffet LLC does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver, secure, and support the messaging service, and only for those operational purposes.
Service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, text-message delivery, analytics, security, and support. They may process information only as needed to provide services to Buffet.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Buffet, preserve challenge records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

You may update notification preferences in Buffet settings. You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP or disabling SMS in settings. You may contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
Children
Buffet is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
