THE BASICS
How a Buffet challenge works
Pick a side
Choose the player, stat, line, and whether the result will finish over or under. The other person takes the opposite side.
Put something on the table
Add friendly stakes, odds, an expiration time, and a little trash talk. Buffet records the agreed terms so everyone sees the same challenge.
Follow the action
Use the challenge page, feed, comments, reactions, notifications, and group chat to follow everything before, during, and after the game.
Buffet keeps the score
Completed challenges are graded from the final result. Wins, losses, pushes, and voids become part of each member’s record and profile history.
Direct challenges
Send a private challenge to one person. Only the invited member can accept it.
Open challenges
Post a challenge for the Buffet community and let another member take the other side.
Groups
Create private circles for friends, family, leagues, or coworkers, with group challenges, polls, chat, and recaps.
Spice ratings
Rate how bold a challenge feels. More spice means a hotter take—not a guarantee that it will win.
Grading
An exact result equal to the line is a push. A true DNP or cancelled game is void. Postponed games remain pending.
Your reputation
Your profile shows your challenge record, activity, reviews, and history so friends know who brings the strongest takes.
